TACOMELT D1021 in 43 mm shot form is a pale amber coloured high performance adhesive formulated for plastics such as polypropylene and polyethylene. It also has good adhesion to aluminium, stainless steel, GRP, polycarbonate. Tests must always be conducted to ensure that adhesive bond is satisfactory as there is such a variety in the above mentioned materials. D1021 has a high heat resistance of 110◦C and good low temperature resistance of -30◦C. It must be noted that full strength is only achieved after 24 hours.
